Developing the Region’s Inclusive and Vibrant Economy (DRIVE)

Fresno DRIVE is a 10-year investment plan to develop an inclusive, vibrant and sustainable economy for residents in the greater Fresno region.

There are three essential components of inclusive and sustainable economic growth:

  1. Economic Development
  2. Human Capital
  3. Neighborhood Development.

Fresno C2C Partners are active participants in all three categories of work and the cross-sector infrastructure has positioned C2C to be the implementation platform for the DRIVE Human Capital Initiatives.

Preconception to Age 5

Vision
Fresno County, where all young children and families thrive regardless of zip code or race.

Long-Term Goal
Fresno County will have a well-functioning, culturally responsive two-generation model of family support in place that reduces pre-term births, promotes kindergarten readiness, and produces notable gains in 3rd grade reading and math assessments.

To achieve this united goal the Preconception to Age 5 Network is relying on the successful and integrated executions of each of the above focus areas.
