Developing the Region’s Inclusive and Vibrant Economy (DRIVE)

Fresno DRIVE is a 10-year investment plan to develop an inclusive, vibrant and sustainable economy for residents in the greater Fresno region.

There are three essential components of inclusive and sustainable economic growth:

  1. Economic Development
  2. Human Capital
  3. Neighborhood Development.

Fresno C2C Partners are active participants in all three categories of work and the cross-sector infrastructure has positioned C2C to be the implementation platform for the DRIVE Human Capital Initiatives.

Early Matters Fresno

Fresno County has nearly 92,000 children between the ages of 0-5. Geographic, racial, ethnic and economic disparities continue to shape far too many of their destinies. Building on more than a decade of investment and trust, community leaders and partners have come together to embrace a shared vision for our collective future. Recognizing that our children are our greatest asset, Early Matters Fresno has united experts in the fields of maternal and child health to early childhood care and education around one goal:

In September 2024 Early Matters Fresno completed a comprehensive investment plan that includes impact goals, priorities, strategies, and progress measurement metrics. The plan also details the total cost, dollars currently being directed toward the work, and the gap in funding that needs to be met to achieve the three and ten-year goals.
